Things to come...

I have a few things going on at the moment...

First of all, I am cleaning my craft room... WOW, I don't think I will never need to go scrapbook shopping again! I found all sorts of goodies and some I am going to be giving away!!

Second of all, April 1st is on Fri and that is when I am announcing my first challenge. It will last a month long and I have been gathering things for the prize and it is going to be AWESOME!

Third, I just want to say "THANKS!!!" to all of you who follow my blog. I really appreciate all the comments and visitors :)

And last but not least I am going to give away a small prize to a random # that comments on this thread! I will be picking the winner for this one, in one week. Tell your friend all they have to do is leave a comment, you DO NOT have to be a follower. (but if you want I would love to have ya!!)

Sorry I haven't had any updates this week. The family and I went on vacation and then had to get back to the swing of things with school, kids and ect.... I see Leprechauns!!

Happy St.Patrick's Day!

To our family St.Patrick's Day is a speacial time for our family! 39yrs ago today my parent's got married. It is amazing to me that they have been married so long. They have 3 children, 2 grandkids and a life full of love!!

I did a glass beer stein with "luck of the Irish" frosted on it, and a Happy St.Patrick's Day card.

Butterfly St.Patrick's card!

Made this green St.Patrick's Day card out of green scraps! I cut out some butterflies and made them 3~d. Then I inked it in black and put a stamp on it! Ta~da!! Tomorrow is a DT post, so be sure to check back!

I know this isn't st.patrick's related but I made it today...

Little Scraps of Heaven is having a sketch challenge. One part of the challenge is that you take a picture of your scrap~room or scrap~area AS IS! So I took the pictures... hmmm I think I need to clean! This is what I came up with.

A cute, quick and easy card!

At Robert's, Micheal's and Joann's they usually have stamps, ink, ribbon, and cards for a 1$ by Studio g. I like to buy the cards and see how many different ways I can make the cards. This is what I did with one of the St.Patrick's Day cards.

I traced the shape of the outside of the card on white, cut it and then taped it so it would cover the holes. On the 2 large clovers I used glitter and then on the 3 small ones I used stickles. Stamped some cute sayings on it and ta~da you are done!!

Happy Sunday!!

Friday my best friend and I went scrapbook shopping! We went to a NEW scrapbook store "Heartfelt" and one that we have been to before "Scrapbook Clearance Outlet".

Heartfelt had a very BIG selection, and you receive 10% OFF every time you shop there. Instead of have a punch card, they have it stored in the computer with your name and phone number. When you have spent 150$ at the store you get a 15$ coupon! Also at Heartfelt they sale fabric and quilting materials. The prices were around the same as any self owned scrapbook store.

Scrapbook Clearance Outlet, is one that we have been to before. Everything in the back is 40% OFF, everything in the front of the store is 20% OFF. Also she has weekly deals. Last weeks deal was, buy 1 get 2 free. She has a .50 cent box. I found all sorts of goodies in there. I will be giving away some over then next little while.

All in all it was a very good shopping trip.

Then on Sat. we cropped the day away!!

I used some new toys that I have had for a while and had never used. I got about 15 pages done. Watched some chick flicks and had a break!!

I will be posting different projects for St.Patricks Day all week! St.Patrick's Day is special to my family. My parent's will have been married 39 years!!

Secret Project....

Don't tell my mom!!
I am making her a mini album for Mother's Day. I know it is a little early but as crazy as life is right now, I rather be ahead then behind!

My mom is the greatest! She has taught me so very many things. To be strong, brave and to continue to seek out your dreams! I hope I am at least half the woman my mother is!

The theme of the mini is... Somewhere over the rainbow
a song that she sang to me quite often, among many others. I found these cut files on one of the many websites I frequent and it was perfect.
